No, I'm telling you that MOST of everyday life is not threatening. We really only NEED a stress response for maybe 2% of the time we are awake. A really unhealthy six might be able to amp his stress response up to maybe 40% of the time he's awake, but that's still not enough to keep one going through the day. And that much stress is a tremendous drain of energy; a six THAT unhealthy would hardly be able to BREATHE when he's not under the stress response.
