Zuercher is in a religious order and has a few books on the Enneagram.
Changing Personality deals with spiritual direction and relationships,
but not loss/grief issues specifically. Our defenses separate us from
essence in general. That "blindspot" would also play a roll in change,
loss, transformation. On Death and Dying is the benchmark book by
Kubler-Ross. Grief Couseling and Grief Therapy written by J. William
Worden discusses the tasks of mourning. Using the process of denial,
anger, acceptance, resolution as a model, one might speculate what aspect
each type defends against, or, how different types might approach each
aspect. Rather than lecture, perhaps an interactive workshop with people
that know their E-type. I think Zuercher's books are reviewed/summarized
(briefly) on Condon's Changeworks.com. Sorry I cannot provide a more
"on target" reference.
