It's a good thing to do. You have fun. You realise that no-one's perfect. You realise how great your friends and colleagues are when they let their hair down. Go for it.
I got out a bit too much this weekend just past. It's Wednesday and I'm still wanting an extra 24 hours sleep (dragging myself out of bed this morning was almost impossible).
> I just spent my first night in Manhattan this weekend. Went in a 42 ft long limo with the people I work with. Our office won a trip to a fancy restaurant, then we hit a couple of night clubs afterwards. Spent $650 on two bottles of German white wine which tasted like sugar fruit juice. I ended up wearing baggy slacks, blouse, jacket, flat shoes. Thought about wearing something more fancy, but chickened out, just couldn't do it. Oh well, at least I went out. Everyone was friendly. It was interesting. The clubs were crowded, lots of music, lots of people, daring outfits. It was interesting. It was neat. I'm glad I had that chance. Would have never had that opportunity if I didn't work there. That was nice. I'm going to have to spend at night out in town again sometime. Going out can be good for you. Getting out to the city, out of your shell, the sanctity of the country, living the other side, experiencing new things, the other half of what life has to offer, it can be good for you. That was nice. The people were nice to be with. I'm glad we did that.
