> Van Damme is a very bad actor, seems out of sync with context and therefore doesn't say or do the things well in movies. I have read an interview with him in which the journalist saw that he was drifting around in a hotel swimming pool at the hottest moment of a very hot day, in the burning sun. When the journalist inquired about this peculiar behavior and even remarked ' J.C. this is a plain stupid thing to do', J.C. answered; ' Oh no, for me this is no problem I just get red and then my skin colors brown' When he started acting and needed to get into movies he once put thousands and thousands of leaflets offering himself on it on the cars in the car park where movie bosses could have parked.

***********He's not idiosyncratic...he's just nuts. He seems emotionally labile to me and he doesn't appear to have an inner life or an interest in alternate realities. I think he's mecurial.
