> I often think of Devoted Style persons of having little knowledge on many things, like children observing the world with big eyes, being momentarily fascinated by something but never focussing on a thing long enough to get real knowledge to be able to do something useful (developing a competence). Their tactic seems to be cute and nice and some of them behave in a parasitical way, allways being with the succesful and competent or strong person who accumulates things and money because he's competent. And of course: when consuming the goodies wouldn't think of not giving them to his Devoted Style friend!

Very Good, Jan, you hit the nail on the head, concerning the Devoted Style & being " gneralists "! You might recall, that a month or so ago, I reported that the family 6W7 member said that they like to learn things, " as long as it wasn't too much trouble."
Devoted-Accomodating Dependent. I think that this subtype would fit an actor in the public eye. Notice that Millon says, " Critical thinking is not their strong point ". That would rule out 6W5! Millon also talks about, ".... a naive attitude toward life's problems." ( both pg 211 )
Conscientious-Bureaucratic Compulsive. It bring organization & narcissitic features; a must for success in Hollwood...! Notice the traditional vaules features, as well....
Contrary-Leisurely-Vacillating Negativist. Since Mel is a top star, we must expect that he can turn on the charm. This would also help to explain the swing from " I'm the boss ", to " what can I do for you? ". I believe that this subtype woulld bring behaviors, one would expect from " A-List actors ".... Rich
