Hello Jan:
Let me say this from a Serious-Inventive-Sensitive viewpoint. Basically, from what I know, your correlations make alot of sense. You tried to fit each Riso wing type to the style that best represents it.... If Tom Condon makes 2W1, MERCURIAl Style, then right there we are working witn nonsense! Having been married to a 2W1/ISFJ for 30 years,I will never fail to remind you, that to over-look the Dramatic Style, will be at you peril! The Self Sacrificing Style is not the whole story, by any means! In real life, we find Mercurial 4W3s & 7W6s. Riso & Condon help us to understand, they are not set in concrete....

I should also remind you that Tom Condon has been going to publish a 2 volume " The Dynamic Enneagram ", which is already 4 & 1/2 years over due. IF, it ever comes out, it will be one of the standqad reference works.... ( If ever comes out, that is. ) Condon has a good rep as a clinical pyschologist, using NLP techniques. How dood is he at modeling & correlations?

Basic principles ( Millon & Oldham ) give us the best chance at understanding. Trying to make other peoples schemes work, is at best, an intellectual exercise! This comes from the 3W4 viewpoint: does it work, is it useful, are there simpler ways to do this? I say yes, stay with the basics.... Rich
