I gather you know what PMS is? I really believe that it has something to do with our body letting a man know we are ovalating. Ovalation generally happens a week before menstration and this is when many women feel very emotional, become bloated (physically visable) and are most volunerable. In small circles, like back in caveman days, a man would pick up on this and for some reason men find a women sexually attractive when they appear volunerable. Would it not be because at this point we are and ovalating and off spring can occur? It still happens today.
Just an idea...
