I feel horrified. It seems like a very major thing- who knows where it will end??. I fell it is the most important thing ahppenening right now and am following the developments daily. However I already thoguht it inevitable - at least 6 months ago. i get angry and frustrated when anyone tried to pretend it may not yet happen, - who are they kidding, and down that many people around me don't seem too concerned about it at all... ( I am in australasia). If our democratically elected govts wage war in our name, spending our taxes on Nuclear and other weapons, then we are all responsible for this. i feel awe and admiration for those barve enought to go down to iraq as part of the human shield- i wish i too had their guts to stick up for their principals to the extent they may well DIE for them. They are amazing.... I feel a duty to discuss it with all those around me, especially those that seem apathetic about it and even discuss it with strangers, regularly. The world seems quite mad at present. i am incences at media propaganda supporting this war, and cant see any justification for it whatsoever.... i am a 'leftie"...
on www.johnpilger.com I read that Tony Blair has just "quietly sanctioned the sale of CHEMICAL WEAPONS to ISRAEL" hard to beieve, but I have no doubt Pilger is right on this. Do Balir Bush etc seroiusly belive Iraq poses a 'threat"??? I dont think so.
