Actually they just look like depressed Sevens.

You're off to a good start.

So what? Most tests are generally the same, and equally superficial too. For what it's worth, it seems the best are the RHETI (the full form, NOT the sampler) at www.enneagraminstitute.com, Ewald's type-and-wing test at www.9energies.info, and Deras's long test (once again, NEVER the short one) at www.similarminds.com.

The three instinctual variants of each type can be remarkably different. The following page has useful information:

Enneatype is like sexual orientation: if you're unsure of it, you would, at the moment, best ascertain it by examining your life so far as a whole. For instance, have you been truly and consistently attracted to members of the opposite sex? Oops, I'm confusing myself here.
