3:40 pm -- It just happened again -- one of the high and mighty $200,000 men invited the receptionist out for after-work drinks today and said he'd pay, and she asked, well, who is going, and he said, "a bunch of us, everyone" -- then he sailed past my office (which is right next to the receptionist cubicle.) I don't even like the guy, but I am TIRED of blatant rudeness right in front of my face. I do not know how to handle this because I do not want to get fired for doing a typical type 4 thing -- like put out an email to the entire department saying, "if you are going to leave people out of your work socializing, at least be polite enough to not snub them in their face. KEEP IT THE FUCK OUT OF MY EARSHOT." I know that then I would be labeled the attitude problem. I shut my door, and I'm leaving early because of it (they can all go fuck themselves), but I need to do something more aggressive that won't get me fired.
