You'd have to talk to the author of that test (who AFAIK hangs around the Enneagram Institute Board) about the Mean Type thing. It's not something naturally connected to the Enneagram, IMHO, just something for his purposes of scoring what type you are. So the Similar Minds test believes you to be 5w6. Pardon me if I recommend another which I've found to be more consistent: http://www.eclecticenergies.com/enneagram/test.php
The Similar Minds person has changed his test a few times.
In addition to wings and main types, the Enneagram has what's called "Instinctual Variants". Basically everybody has some sort of main drive that's either Self-Preservation, Sexual (also called Intimate, Relational, or One-to-One), or Social. The Sexual person is sort of fixated on one-to-one relationships and intensity in their everyday life. I've heard them described as "a plug looking for a socket". A Sexual variant or subtype will usually be the most intense within its Enneagram type. They are always on the lookout for The One, where in comparison the Self-Preservation person may be looking for true security and the Social person for status and a secure place in society or a particular group.
