I had a best friend that meant the world to me, and I let the relationship slip away without putting up a fight. I regret this so much, everytime I think that my friend may not of ever known how much I truely loved her I feel a knot twist in my stomach. My advice, if it's hard to do in person, maybe you should write her a letter online, explaining that although you care about her it's hard for you to show it. She'll love that, any girl would, cause girls want guys to be open about how they feel, and if she feels the same way I'm sure she'll be glad to help you with that. I read once that fours keep people at a distance in order to live in their worlds of longing and feeling....I think that's kinda screwy. I personally think that fours tend to be avoidant personalities and they keep people at a distance to insure not getting hurt or rejected. Now I terribly regret letting a relationship that meant everything to me slip away, so my advice to you is to suck it up and put yourself out there no matter how uncomfortable it may feel, cause there's no other way to go about it.
And good luck.
P.S. I think it was really mean what P said , for god sakes we are sensitive little fours we can not be insulted!
