Hello. I've taken Enneagram tests and they keep saying I'm a 4. While I am a depressive personality type and all that worry-wort crap that goes with it, I certainly don't think I'm a drama queen or narcisstic. Actually, I've been accused of acting too mellow. Whatever. I don't understand this "wanting to be appreciated for being unique". I mean, I'm certainly unique but I don't care if anyone notices it. (Actually, it would be nice if sometimes people didn't say it so much. 'Ooh, you're so unique!' as though I was trying to be unique. I'm not trying! ) Anyhow, I'd put peace and happiness as more desireable. As long as things are smooth and you feel fine, who cares?
Question for type 4's then : in concern to being individualistic, do you ever do things just because no one else was doing it? Or done bizarre things just because you thought it would be funny? Or quit doing something because someone else started doing it, even if they were just copying you? (Don't know why that annoys me, it's like 'Hey! Make up your own game to play! This one's mine!'
