Yes, I am very much like that myself.
I can't imagine how much it might have
helped me if I would have come across
the Enneagram when I was 19. Of course,
maybe I wasn't ready for it either.
I'm 32 now, and as far as I can tell, I
will be spending as little time at a regular
job as possible in order to work on my music
for the rest of my life. I can't imagine
ever going to a "normal" existence. I loathe
having a 9 to 5 existence. It doesn't fit me.
If I'm still a starving artist when I'm 90 years
old, so be it. I don't want to get to the end
of my life and have to say "I wonder what
it would have been like If I had tried to
pursue my dreams?" No way. It's all or nothing,
because all I know is the way I am. I must
express what tore me up inside for so many years.
All of this emotion inside NEEDS to come out,
and I hope to God that by sharing it, someone
else out there will be helped by it.
