However, as for being 'powerless' to actually change them, I disagree. Although it can be difficult at times, I do believe, that in the long run, nothing is encaptured in stone, nothing.

And that means you can change whatever thought and behaviour you want, sometimes up to quite a significant level even, provided that you want to, of course.

I know Enneagram's healing path is supposedly self-awareness, but it seems like a trap for Fours, IMHO because I can observe and label all my thoughts and behaviors as they happen, but am pretty much powerless to do anything about them and actually change.
