"ADHD(same as ADD) is a diagnosis applied to children and adults who consistently display certain characteristic behaviors over a period of time. The most common core features include:
distractibility (poor sustained attention to tasks)
impulsivity (impaired impulse control and delay of gratification)
hyperactivity (excessive activity and physical restlessness)"
i know for sure that i have problems with the first two symptoms, but i'm not sure about the third. i don't go out and play sports and stuff, but i'm constantly shaking parts of my body when i sit down, and sometimes i keep walking around my apartment for no reason. if i do have ADD, it isn't diagnosed and i have a pretty good idea why. mostly because in person i am really laid back and calm, but i do notice little things where i always skake my leg or rub my face and stuff. i'm not sure, i'll ask someone about it next time i go to the docs, if i ever decide to go again, =p. for a while i had some type of OCD(obsessive compulsive disorder), i was totally obsessed with washing my hands and eating stuff from paper towels instead of my hands. i realized one day that doing those things was contradicting my whole "i don't give a %*&^" mentality and kinda forced myself to stop doing it. i don't know, lol.
