Thanks for your reply. The thing is, I am romantic in relationships, but not a romance junkie (too damned old for that). I suspected he was hiding something from me from the beginning, and expressed it periodically to him, I just didn't know what it was. I'll meet him at lunchtime and perhaps broach the subject. Not exactly something I want to embark on in the middle of a workday.
I've always had a thing about lying and honesty is the most important trait I look for in anyone I have in my life. I told the guy this the 1st conversation we had about what we require in people.
As far as romance junkies: I've found young males (under 30) to be huge romance junkies. Do a lot of projection and are not grounded in the reality of the other person. No matter what type they are.
