I am a type 1 and have not had the problem of depression and lack of motivation that you describe so I am certainly not the best person to empathise and advise. However, 4's integrate to type 1 and I would suggest that you try and assess what levels of health that you are operating on as a 4 (read Riso) and try and eliminate the basic fears that stop you from integrating to 1. If you can identify the barriers and habitual behaviours, you may be able to work out strategies to overcome the fears and those behaviours and let your true self emerge.
I know a 4 male who had a career in the helping professions but felt that being surrounded by helper types brought him more back to type 2 which is 4's disintegration point. So perhaps if you know a few 1's hang around them a bit more. Personally, I found your age to be extremely exciting because of the limitless possibilities in front of me. I would look at job ads (jobs for which you needed qualifications) and imagined the exciting adventures I would have doing those jobs. I could not wait to get started. Even now in an established career, I somtimes wish I could start again on some other jobs and careers. As you can see, my 1 nature is about jobs and work and I recognise that if everyone had that attitude, the world would indeed be a dull place. But if your immediate problem is motivation, working/studying towards a job might be a good start - a job helps self esteem (someone thinks that it is worth giving you money for the work that you do)and also opens up windows to other worlds and perhaps in one of those windows you will find what your heart desires.
