Froggy announced to me about this group will be shutting down on October 1st, and of course, I shed a few tears to mourn another loss. I realize that I don't deal with loss very well. It kind of made me sad because it reminds me another death, another loss, forever and never shell see it again. I do value knowing that the 9 Types board will be here whenever I want to come back and communicate with all the familiar people and new people.
There is no message board like 9 Types. It is original and unique. It was my first message board that I joined in my whole life and now, it is gone, like my dead father. Gone!! Forever! I shall miss seeing all of you on this site together. It was sort of like a family in a positive way and in negative ways also, but we always came back to this place like home.
Emily, anytime, you want to say hello to me, you know where Enneagram Enthusiasts is and you know my email addresses. Plus, we can always meet in the IM and chat once in a while. I do miss you. How is the kittens? How is John doing these days? Where are you going to go for your Enneagram Message needs now? Perhaps, I will come and say hello. You are a member of my group, so feel free to look into the Links department and click on Enneagram Message Boards for a list of them. I need to add more.
Thanks for sharing your post. It is good that I am not the only one who feels sad about the 9 Types ending. I will miss Becca too. I know she won't miss the chaos. I wonder why nobody will continue the legacy of this group site. I would do it, but I barely keep up with my 4 groups. I try to support members in their groups also. Patrick started a David Keirsey group called Temperament Talk. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/TemperamentTalk. I keep this link on my group's home page for those who are interested. Patrick is doing great!
Peace with you Emily.
> I can't believe 9types is getting shut down. This was my home online for so many years. It's weird to think it's not even going to exist anymore. It's sad. Very sad. I truly loved this place...and the memories I have of it are bittersweet, but much more sweet than bitter. =o)

> I suppose this will be my last post to 9types. I wish you all the best in life, and I hope you find your happiness if you haven't already, whatever that may be. Thank you. For everything...for helping me figure out myself, and showing me for the first time that I'm not alone.
