Enneagram Type 5 Board Archive yin stimulationPosted by isaac on March 29, 2001 at 10:06:35: In Reply to: Isaac:5w4 ADD Ritalin Rheumatoid arthritis apples and oranges posted by Paul the Pharmacist on March 29, 2001 at 09:50:17: i'd have to guess that this is the best explaination of how speed affects add kids. in fact, it's the one that my doctor gave me, with a big caveat of "we really don't know why this works for sure, but it seems to." however, in further support of that theory, not every kind of speed has this affect on add. some of them seem to just aggrevate the symptoms of flightiness and lack of concentration, but just give the person a lot more energy, making them more hyperactive. isaac
