Those Marines know it is a big possibility that they are going to die. They are willing to die for their country, one Marine told me himself.
I am happy to see those Iraqi people dance for joy that they are liberated from the control of Saddam!
Dance Iraqi people, Dance to your heart content. They understand what it means to have freedom that so many of us take for granted. Those Marines understand. I try to give a small group of them support before they left. It take courage for Americans to fight for their country and willing to die for the freedom for Americans, including for their families.
Maybe, you should talk to the USMC sometimes and learn from them what it means for them to die for our country. They did not join the Army, Air Force, Navy or National Guard because they want to be on the frontlines in defending our country and liberate the Iraqi people, regardless of what Bush's intentions are. I am speaking about what I have learned about what it means to be a Marine, well the very basic meaning. I hope to learn more. They are really proud of being in the Marines.
I am so proud of my friend who rebuild himself up and became qualified to be in the Marines to my amazement. He did not look like the type, but he is now. He is a man now. It was beautiful to watch him grow into the person that he is today. He is a real man now. I guess, I need to let our mutural friends know where he is. They are going to be shock because the way we knew him, he was skinny, sensative and emotional with a creative artistic heart. And he was recovering from being sick and could not go out in the sun, now he is the brave, the proud, the Marines! He is my HERO! Now his sensative butt is hanging with the big boys, including the type Eights, out of all people. Wow!
