So what are the strengths that can be reached? I am guessing it is the natural ability to connect with just about anyone, and that ability comes from a genuine interest to understand them. Or maybe the need to defend ourselves is so strong, we secure ourselves in the person's confidence to feel safer. This seems quite beneficial not only in general, but in such realms of business, politics, and other areas where communication is a necessity. There have been so many times in my life where one set of my friends would end up getting into fights with another set of friends, and I was always caught in the middle. And even today, I have like four separate little groups of friends who would never think about mingling with one another because of their different natures. You have probably experienced similar situations.
***In college. I brought different groups of people together for activities and some ended up being better friends with each other than me.
Now I'm married with kids I have no friends anymore!
Maybe those people who said you had anti-social tendencies were put off by a lack of social grace. By that I mean some people (like myself when I was younger and even now if Im in a bad mood) just want to get down to business when they go somewhere and dont have time for seemingly petty and trite social customs and niceties. My myers briggs type is INTJ and if I am strongly in that mindset I will repress emotional reactions and facial expression in favor of internal thinking or a tunnel vision to complete my goal.
Anyway this test will determine your myers-briggs personality type (all those E,N,P,S things). Just follow the link below.
