Well, when I was young my mother overprotected me. Both parents were highly critical. My father was criticial over practical matters while my mother was more critical over moral matters. My mother grew ill with lupus while I was young, and I didn't know she was ill until later, though I had dreams about it. My father divorced my mother when I was 11 and he gained custody of me. But he didn't take much of a role in preparing me for life. He didn't really know how to deal with me. We are opposites in many ways. My mother was always very dramatic sometimes it was hard to be good enough for her, and I certainly couldn't heal her illness. She didn't ask me to do that, of course, but she worried for a long time about me ending up like my father and things like that. She also used to pull guilt trips about when I went to see her and related things. This is sort of a brief overview, I tried to highlight the important parts. If you have any question or want clarification on certain point, please ask. My mother is 4w5 infj and my father is 4w3 enfp.
