Yes. My four-wing convinced me for quite some time that I was some unique case - a special personality combination - and that I don't have a single basic type for various reasons... etc. etc. After realizing, "Ha! This is what a four would do," I investigated some more to come up with a final result of 5w4 +1. Lol, I do admit to retaining some feeling of 'specialness' by knowing that I have a somewhat unique balance of 1 along with 4 and 5. Haha :-P
I had similar issues with the MBTI, BTW. Even today I try to prevent my spells of confusion where I tend to make complicated mental schemas of my oh-so-special unlabelable personality - an odd blending of my 5 and 4 tendencies.
I hope that didn't stray too far from the topic. (-of not admitting one's Enneagram type, right?)
