In response to the original question about a correlation between the MBTI and the Enneagram, there is a good book by Renee Baron and Elizabath Wagele, The Enneagram Made Easy (HarperSan Francisco, 1994) that attempts to deal with that. Baron/Wagele found that "Threes tend toward Extroversion and Judging". In fact, they found that all nine Enneagram personalities correlate with I/E, T/F or J/P and while they don't say so explicitly, that S/N is not a factor.

I'm a Three with a strong Four wing, and an ENTJ.
